ever since i (somewhat sneakily) moved from my old account, i've kept deviantart at arm's length. i am not in the position of defining what goes on here seeing as i hardly spend more than 10 minutes daily on this network due to college work (though i have four+ years of obsessive use under my belt, back when things were golden). one can loosely term an original (not thefted) deviation as an expression of creativity no matter the aptitude of the person submitting it. there - clean, unoffensive. forget popularity, forget pageviews, i'm addressing young people passionate about making their life about art, much like myself. am i in a position to
